The FireStik SSJ4A mount was specifically designed for the 1997 and newer Jeep Wranglers. The TJ series of Jeep's legendary Wrangler. The SSJ4A attaches to the front fender lip under the vehicles hood (either left or right side). Once properly installed all mounting hardware and holes are hidden from view.
Position the Jeep fender mount forward on the fender closer to the fender bolt if you use your Jeep Wrangler for aggressive off-highway driving. The SSJ4A is a 12 gauge all stainless steel antenna mount that resists weathering and radio electronic crushing rust.
High quality coaxial cable that is a little longer than the cable run for your Jeep will allow you some slack if you ever need to reroute your coax. FireStik does recommend 18 feet of coax with their products for best performance.
The SSJ4A will readily support antennas that stand 4 feet tall.
