The newest addition to the Ranger line is the RCI 99N1. This new design eliminates the bottom heatsink which slims it down to the size of most other 10 meter radios, but you still get the switchable RF Power Amplifier and all of the features of it's predecessors, with
They have the same sleek look and feel too. The black chrome bezel and white LED Channel and frequency lights compliment each other nicely, and you can switch between several different colors for the backlit display and dim them down if you don't want them so bright.
Some other nice features of this radio are the built-in SWR meter with a high SWR Alert LED that warns you of problems in your antenna system. The 99N1 comes with AM, USB, and LSB operating modes and a 5 digit frequency counter.
